Prior to your first appointment, you’ll be required to fill out a comprehensive health history intake to ensure a safe and effective treatment plan. Everything in your file (including but not limited to your health history, chart notes, personal info, etc.) is confidential and will not be shared, directly or indirectly, without specific and informed written consent provided by you (except in the case of legal obligation).

As a solo practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valued clients. When you cancel on short notice, my livelihood is jeopardized. You're also taking a valuable appointment spot away from someone else who would benefit from treatment. For these reasons, I have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel, reschedule, or shorten your appointment with less than 24 hours notice for any reason, the card on file will be charged for the full treatment cost. No, really, ANY REASON: Illness, injury, emergency, alien abduction… The lone exception: If you fill your spot, I'll waive the fee. This is not a punishment, it’s protection of my most valuable and irreplaceable resource - my time.

The duration of your appointment is the length of time we have for the entire treatment. At your first visit, I conduct a thorough intake to go over your health history and get to the bottom of your aches & pains. This will often include some degree of orthopedic assessment, based on the nature of your condition or injury. I do my best to maximize hands-on massage time, but please be aware that the intake and info needed to create a safe & effective treatment plan can sometimes take up to 10 or so minutes of your first treatment. Want more time? I don’t blame you! I always recommend booking at least 75 minutes for your first appointment.
